WIKI Basic Instructions

Here is a simple way for you to spread news, background informtion, and other content for your fellow community members.  Remember, you need to be a registered user to create Wiki Pages and share information with the TBDF Connects Community.  Register now. If you are already registered, log in now.

  1. Click on "Create a Child Page" below.
  2. Give your page a title.
  3. Choose your page's format.  The options are like most text editors like Word or email programs.
  4. Write your story, article, or add pictures.  To add pictures, you first have to upload them to the Gallery.
  5. Leave "Menu Link Title" blank.
  6. Select "Wiki" under "Parent Item".
  7. Among the boxes to the left, you only need to deal with "URL Path Settings" - click on that to assign a simple address for your Wiki Page.  After clicking on "URL Path Settings", unclick "Automatic Alias" and write in á simple alias for your page's name - ONLY the part that would come after http://www.tbdfconnects.org. If you want your page's address to be http://www.tbdfconnects.org/mypage just write mypage.
  8. Click "Save" - if you don't your page will be lost.
  9. First your page goes into a mederation queue to be sure it's all set up right, and if it is, it will be approved and published onto the site.
